Stretch Goal! Back, and get an exclusive EP.

We’ve blasted through our crowdfunding target to get the new album recorded and out on limited vinyl release, which is awesome. If you’ve already got a pre-order in, thank you!

There are 16 days left to run in the pre-order, and even though we’ve hit our target, every order that comes in helps cover the studio hire costs, which are one of the biggest expenses. This ain’t no profit game.

As a result of that, we’ve decided to offer a ‘stretch goal’. What the hell is that, I hear you say? It means that if we hit £750, every backer will also get an exclusive digital EP of unreleased material – potentially including songs from the archives, alternative versions of new songs, and ‘live’ stuff.

Interested? We still have a bunch of cassettes left, unlimited digital pre-orders, and of course you can always make your mark on the world by naming the entire album…

Album update!

Thanks to you lovely people, we smashed through our funding target for the album, meaning we will definitely be recording later on in the year and releasing a vinyl – which is pretty exciting. We also got highlighted by Kickstarter as a project they love – whatever that means.

There is still 25 days to go until the pre-order period ends though, and we have a bunch of stuff left to sell. As well as the digital copies for a tenner, there are 17 limited edition cassettes left, and just one vinyl – so this is your last chance to grab one before they disappear. If you want to name the album, get your face tattooed on Lee, or split the band up – those options are also still available too.

Kickstarter Spam (and our responses)

We are over halfway towards our total of £400 required to help fund the recording and release of ‘Pished & Fabulous’. There’s 39 days to go, which means hopefully things will go well. Haven’t checked it out yet? Pre-order the album here. Already pre-ordered? We love you.

One of the things that nobody told us about doing a Kickstarter was the amount of shiite you get in the inbox as a result. People begging you to listen to their expert advice, or to pay them to tweet your project to millions of disinterested followers.

Rather than ignore them, we decided to reply personally to each one.

Firstly, here’s a monster-sized message from one ‘Harry Cotgrove’ (too long to screenshot):

Hi there,

I hope you’re well, cool project!

I launched my first Kickstarter project in 2016 for my innovative pet product. However, I struggled to get exposure and traffic to my campaign page. I was inundated with emails from PR agencies promising all sorts of things. I spent alot of time and money on these methods in my desperate state to get my project funded. Some never replied, some returned little solid results and all were ineffective for the amount of money I spent. I turned to marketing via email to gain exposure for my project and as a result I sent out many, many emails.

As a result of this, over the following two day’s I was on a radio show, featured in three local newspapers and two national newspaper’s in the UK including The Daily Mail (see it below). My Kickstarter traffic shot up and backers flooded in. I realised I didn’t need an expensive PR agency i just needed crucial contacts in important places.

Since then, I have spent weeks compiling an up to date list of important journalists with national and international newspapers, influential bloggers, the top twenty Pintrest users and websites to submit new products to. All of these can propel your crowdfunding project to the masses and gain you massive exposure. (I wish i had these lists at the start of my campaign!) Simply write a press release (I can help you with this) and send this out to all the contacts, if you have a sensible goal you will realistically only need 2 or 3 out of the hundreds of contacts to feature you for your traffic and backers to shoot up!

I’m sharing these lists with you starting at just £10/$14 – for 100 email addresses on my website ( and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you every success with your project!
